back to boardWhy cannot we use asin, atan, or acos?? [just asinl .. ] (-) Re: Why cannot we use asin, atan, or acos?? [just asinl .. ] (-) Actually Pascal&Delphi have only ArcTan(x). ArcSin(x) is calculted as ArcSin(x) := ArcTan(x/sqrt(1-sqr(x))); ArcCos(x) := ArcTan(sqrt(1-sqr(x))/x); That is. I mean for C++, anyway thanks :) (-) > Actually Pascal&Delphi have only ArcTan(x). > ArcSin(x) is calculted as > ArcSin(x) := ArcTan(x/sqrt(1-sqr(x))); > ArcCos(x) := ArcTan(sqrt(1-sqr(x))/x); > That is. |
