back to boardOrientation of the cube about "Cube on the walk" so.. if we have the board, a b c d e f g h 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
about the cube - where is its forward side looking to the left is oriented (h -> a). the right is (a -> h). but what about forward and backward? (which is (8 -> 1) and which is (1 -> 8) oriented?). Re: Orientation of the cube I think someone who solved the problem willanswer better As forme , i think the ususal chessboard is a b c d e f g h 8 7 6 ^forward 5 | 4 <-(left) (right) -> 3 | 2 \/ (backward) 1 Re: Orientation of the cube I think as you said, the result will be 1. Re: Orientation of the cube YES it will be 1 directly e2->e2, the bottom becomes the forward, i.e. 0 -> the cost is 1 + 0 = 1. so i don't agree with this orientation it doesnt matter how Oriented; Posted by hawking 19 Aug 2002 14:41 i just get aced ,and my answer for the sample is 5 e2 e1 f1 f2 e2 e3P |
